She attained the age of 85 years, seven months and nine days. She attained the age of 85 years, seven months and nine days. Leona Adeline (Musch) Tronson was born on a farm northwest of Lennox on Mar. 8, 1913, the daughter of William C. and Mata (Stroman) Musch. She attended Behrends rural school and grew to womanhood there. She attended Lennox High School, graduating with the class of 1931. She then attended Eastern Normal Teachers College in Madison, SD, and taught school in area rural schools for eight years. On Feb. 10, 1941, she was united in marriage to Clarence Tronson at Germantown Parsonage, rural Chancellor, SD. They farmed north of Lennox their entire married life. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1995, ending a marriage of over 54 years. She continued to live on the farm since that time. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one infant son (Merrill's twin); her father, on Aug. 29, 1967; her mother, on Dec. 15, 1985, and one brother, Lester Musch, on Jun. 27, 1987. Survivors include three children and their spouses: Merrill and Betty Tronson of Glenwood, IA, Lorna and Albert Iken of Lennox, and Tamra and Michael Oltmanns of Lennox; ten grandchildren; one brother, Leo Musch, of Canton; one sister, Lois DeNeui and husband, Edward, of Lennox.
