Leona was born April 25, 1937, in Bridger, to Paul and Monica Kroll. She grew up in Bridger on a farm. She married Jarel James Cellmer on June 11, 1955. In the spring of 1965, they moved to Laurel. Read More	LAUREL — Leona Marie Cellmer, 72, danced home to heaven on Feb. 15, 2010, while listening to her polka music and surrounded by her loved ones. Leona was born April 25, 1937, in Bridger, to Paul and Monica Kroll. She grew up in Bridger on a farm. She married Jarel James Cellmer on June 11, 1955. In the spring of 1965, they moved to Laurel. Leona worked at the Yellowstone Country Club, The Elks Club, Emporium, as a security guard at Wells Fargo, and the Laurel Wal-Mart. She was a devoted employee wherever she worked. Leona loved gardening, sewing quilts with her mother, crocheting afghans for her family, but is known for her beautiful crocheted Christmas trees. She also enjoyed fishing, playing pinochle, cooking, and being with family. Leona was a member of the Red Hatters. She is survived by her children, Shirley (Ken) Emineth of Billings, Jarel Roy (Maureen) of Casper, Wyo., Patty (Rod) Kelm of Fort Peck, Diane (Wayne) Madison of Stockton, Kan., Randy (Cynthia) of Laurel, Monica Busch of Nashua; her brothers and sisters, 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jarel James; parents Paul and Monica Kroll; her sister, Anne; and a special friend, Mel. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Laurel. A vigil service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in memory of Leona Cellmer to RiverStone Health Hospice, 123 27th St., Billings, MT 59101. * * * * * According to Leona's Montana Death Certificate she is buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens, as is her husband, Jarel James Cellmer.
