Description	:	Leona Kiemele, 84, Bismarck, died Dec. 3, 2005, at a Bismarck hospital. Leona was born on Feb. 21, 1921, in Emmons County, the daughter of Henry Sr. and Louisa (Grenz) Serr. She was raised and attended school in the Sand Creek District. She married Edward H. Kiemele on Nov. 11, 1941. They farmed north of Temvik, until moving to Linton in 1968. Edward died on Dec. 16, 1972. Leona moved to Bismarck in 1979. She was currently a resident at the Baptist Home in Bismarck. Leona was born on Feb. 21, 1921, in Emmons County, the daughter of Henry Sr. and Louisa (Grenz) Serr. She was raised and attended school in the Sand Creek District. She married Edward H. Kiemele on Nov. 11, 1941. They farmed north of Temvik, until moving to Linton in 1968. Edward died on Dec. 16, 1972. Leona moved to Bismarck in 1979. She was currently a resident at the Baptist Home in Bismarck. Leona loved children and shared that love by babysitting for a number of years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and growing flowers. She was a member of Bismarck Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her great faith in God and exemplary prayer life. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Wayne and Eileen Kiemele of Linton, Myra and Bill Ehrman, and Pamela Kiemele, all of Bismarck; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Roe of Olympia, Wash., and one brother, Henry Serr of Hazelton. Leona was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; seven sisters; and four brothers. Bertha Sikel and Leona, sisters, died nine days apart. Interment at the Linton City Cemetery. Casketbearers were Elmer Munsch, Kenneth Kiemele, Harry Serr, Kelly Kiemele, Terry Serr and Rick Kiemele. Emmons County Record
