Miller, 81, of Tocsin, a retired Decatur General Electric worker, and father of Robert Miller, and Mrs. Eugene Loshe, of Decatur, died at 10 a.m. Monday at his residence of a heart attack. The son of Martin and Angeline Shaw Miller, he was born May 5, 1893 in Jay county. He was married to Icy M. Davison on Oct. 24, 1914, at Bryant. A member of the Tocsin United Methodist Church, he retired in 1958 from the Decatur General Electric plant. Survivors in addition to the wife, are three sons; Robert, Decatur; George, Forest Park, GA.; Clarence, Bluffton; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Doris) Loshe, Decatur; Mrs. Dora (Charlotte) Murray, Poneto; and Mrs. Harold (Martha) Townsend, Mars Hill, Maine; 18 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Friends may call t the Elzey Funeral Home in Ossian from 7 until 9 p.m. today, and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tocsin United Methodist church, the Rev. Bruce Kenline officiating. Burial will be in the Tocsin cemetery. Davison, who survives, took place Oct. 24, 1914 in Bryant. Surviving are three sons, Clarence (Cova) of Bluffton, George (Joe) of Forest Park, Ga., and Robert of Decatur; three daughters, Mrs. Dora (Charlotte) Murray of Poneto, Mrs. Harold (Martha) Townsend of Mars Hill, Me., and Mrs. Eugene (Doris)Loshe of Decatur, 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
