Bishop H. A. Schlappy of the Latter-Day Saints faith will officiate and burial will be in the Ronan cemetery. Mr. Bowman moved to Frenchtown from St. Ignatius six years ago. He was a special deputy on the force of Sheriff William J Walker, and the sheriff's department will send flowers to the funeral, Walker stated. The man was killed when the motorcycle upon which he and a son, LeRoy, age 14, were riding, struck a swelling in the pavement two miles west of Babb. Both were thrown off and Mr. Bowman was dead nearly at once. The boy was injured and has bruises and lacerations. The party was traveling on three motorcycles. Leonard and Marjorie Bowman were on one of the vehicles and James and Nila Collier were on another. They escaped hitting the bump. Mr. Bowman is survived, in addition to the son, by the widow, Mabel; two other sons, Leonard, Missoula, and Rodney, Deer Lodge; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Lampey, East Helena, and Mrs. James Staples and Miss Rita Bowman, Frenchtown.
