Description	:	Leora Elizabeth Gorman, 83, Maryville, died May 13, 2000, at a Maryville hospital. Mrs. Gorman was a U.S. postal clerk She also worked in the kitchen at Northwest Missouri State University, retiring in 1986. Born Jan 15, 1917, in Skidmore, Mo., she was a graduate of Skidmore High School. Mrs. Gormanwas a member of the Skidmore Methodist Church; Sam R. Albrecht American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 411; and the Royal Neighbor Club, all of Skidmore. In 1939, she married Elihu Logan. He was killed in action, during World War II. One June , 1961, she married Jess B. Gorman in Maryville. He survives of the home. Mrs. Gorman was also preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Birdie Mcginness; and a sister, Lillian McGinness. Additiona survivors: a on, Richard F. Logan, St. Joseph; a sister, virginia Pagin, Howe, Ind., four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services for Leora Elizabeth Gorman, 83, Maryville, were held May 16, 2000, at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, Mo., with the Rev. Connie Ury officiating. Gorman died Saturday, May 13, 2000, in Maryville. Pallbearers were Bill Schluter, Randy Lawrance, Danny Lawrance, harold Garner, Ernie Gorman and Marvin Breitkreit. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Lawrance, Tague Ferguson, Drew Schuter, and Donnie Morelock. The organist was Carol Mincy and the vocalist was Brian Sparks.
