Leota is survived by her brother, Maynard Hiskey of West Des Moines; sister, Mildred Rakes of Camdenton, MO; grandchildren, Carolyn O'Leary of Urbandale, Jerry Mitchell of Winterset, David Mitchell of Winterset, Barb Welch of Winterset; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren.
