Born in Lenawee County, Michigan, Mr. Gibson lived in the Sylvania area 15 years. Before that, he lived in Berkey and Swanton. Mr. Gibson, a veteran of World War I, was a member of Diehn Post, American Legion, and Swanton Lodge, Knights of Pythias. Diehn Post will conduct rites Monday at 8 p.m.in the Reeb Mortuary, Sylvania. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the mortuary, with burial in Amboy Township Cemetery.
