Read More	LeRoy Edward Dorman, son of Edward Raymond and Myrtle May Thompson Dorman was born on Jan. 5, 1929 at Belleville, KS, and passed away on Sept. 25, 1988 at Lincoln, NE, at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 20 days. LeRoy was born and raised in Belleville. He graduated from Belleville High school and attended Kansas University. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on January 30, 1951. He served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the DAV. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belleville. He was in the dry cleaning business for several years. He worked in Belleville, Salina and Wichita, KS. He also worked in Venice, CA, and managed a cleaning shop in Lincoln, until his health failed. He has been in failing health for the past several years. He was preceded by his father, Edward R. Dorman in 1976. He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Dorman, Belleville; his sister, Mrs. Sharon Kay Griffith and her husband, Ronald of Cincinnati, Ohio; two nieces and one nephew, Christina Lynn Tempke, Lori Lynne Salyer and Scott Douglas Salyer all of Cincinnati, Ohio; two aunts, Guilia Nordstrom, Lincoln, Inez Kuhlman, Belleville, and several cousins, other relatives and friends. Services were held at the First United Methodist Church of Belleville, Saturday, October 1, 1988, 2 p.m., conducted by the Reverend Roy Brotton. Steve Scofield was the soloist and Mrs. Eugene Waring, organist. Casket bearers were Ronald Griffith, Scott Salyer, Ray Weaver, Tom McClellan, Kay Goodwin and Ray Clark. Interment was made in the Chester Cemetery, Chester, NE.
