The Enterprise April 11, 1912 Leroy Harold Armstrong Leroy Harold Armstrong, aged 22 years, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Armstrong, died at his home in Legrand, Iowa, March 16, 1912. Mr. Armstrong had been ill but a short time and his sudden taking away, even before he had reached the zenith of young manhood, was an inexpressible shock to his young wife and to his parents. The deceased was united in marriage March 10, 1910, to Miss Nina Belle Emley, and he and bride lived on at the old home farm when Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Armstrong came to Montana and located on unsurveyed land northwest of Malta. He was a consistent christian and active in the organizations or the church to which he belonged. The funeral was held at Legrand, Iowa, March 21st. Beside the bereaved wife and parents he leaves three brothers, Geo. C. Armstrong of Cincinnati, Ohio; Robert E. Armstrong, of Baltimore, Ohio; William K. Armstrong of Helena, Montana, and one sister, Mrs. Guy Harvey of Marshalltown, Iowa. All were present at the funeral except Wm. K. of Helena. The remains were laid at rest in the Legrand cemetery. The father, H. M. Armstrong, is detained in Iowa, considerably longer than he had expected to be; detained by his son's death and also because he was appointed administrator of his son's estate, and must attend to the settlement of matters pertaining to it before coming west.
