Funeral Services were Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with Pastor Mel Shepherd officiating. Burial was at Lee Park Cemetery with Military rites. Leroy enjoyed his long walks, gardening, reading, searching for coins with his medal detector and spending time with his family. He enjoyed working on cars and spent several years restoring a Model A car. Leroy is survived by his wife, Doris Giddings of Broken Bow; son, Dana Giddings and his wife Deana Giddings of Broken Bow; daughter, Emmy Poland and her husband Mark Poland of Omaha; his beloved grandchild, Alex Poland; three sisters, Darla Drake and her husband Dan Drake of Ainsworth, Roma Porter and her husband Jim Porter of Broken Bow, and Della Giddings of Hastings.
