Description	:	Lesley's parents lives in Minnesota, where Lesley attended school. At the age of 18, she married James Hall & they were parents of 4 children: James, Lorissa, Carolynn, & Steven. A 1940 census showed her still married to James, however, in 1950, she married Carl Veach. I was unable to find a divorce decree, but, assume they did. James moved to Oregon where he passed away in 2008. Lesley's family can be tracked back thru the FAG reports to John Henry Allcot/ Alcott, who had been born at sea en route from England to America. Former wife of James Lewis Hall. Leslie L. "Cottie" Veach, 77 of Nevada died of a heart ailment Dec. 24, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, and Burial will be in Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Mrs. Veach was born in Minneapolis and moved to Nevada from Des Moines in 1968. She was a retired dental assistant and nurse's aide. Among survivors are two daughters, Carolyn Hall and Lorissa Hall, both of Denver, Colo; two sons Steven Hall of Lyman, Wyo., and Kenneth Veach or San Francisco; a brother Chaucey Alcott of Apache Junction, Ariz.; Two sisters, Beatrice Johnson of Settle and Lucile Erickson of San Jose, Calif.; nine grand-children; and six great-grand children. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, were the family will meet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Story County Long-Term Care in Nevada.
