Read More	Lester Arvid Holland, 73 Aberdeen American News (SD) - Friday, August 24, 2001 Webster --- Lester Holland, 73, of Webster, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at Lake Area Hospital in Webster. Lester Arvid Holland was born Aug. 2, 1928, to Martin and Myrtle (Berget) Holland in Pierpont. He attended school in Pierpont. In March 1951 he entered the U.S. Army. He married Delores Peckham on Oct. 6, 1951, in Bristol. After his discharge from the Army in March 1953, the couple made their home and farmed for several years near Bristol. He then drove truck for Meyer Trucking. In 1957 the couple moved to Webster, where he was employed as a lineman for Northwestern Public Service Company. He retired as line foreman for Northwestern in 1990. After his retirement, he worked part time at various jobs in Webster. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Herbert McKennett American Legion Post No. 40 of Webster. He liked to hunt and fish. Survivors include his wife of Webster; three daughters, Patsy Rodriguez of St. Louis, Jan Bertsch of Watertown and Diane (Lenny) Mabey of Spearfish; one son, David Holland of Watertown; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Casketbearers will be Toby Bertsch, Joey Charron, Justin Gaikowski, Jeff Skaare, Rick Volesky and Larry Block.
