Description	:	Lester was born in Double Mills, Md. and was residing there at the time of his passing. He was a son of the late W. Clyde and May B. Twilley. He enlisted in the Navy after high school graduation and served in the Pacific aboard the USS New York during the Iwo Jima and Okinawa campaigns. In 1946, he returned to the family farm and later worked for the DuPont Co. in Seaford, retiring in 1985. He is survived by his wife, Norma; two sons; two daughters-in-law; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; two brothers; two aunts; and several nieces and nephews.
