Description	:	Lester Edward McVey, the son of James and Nana (Sheen) McVey, was born at Sutton, Nebraska, on October 15, 1917, and passed away at Rosamond, California, on May 6, 1988, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 21 days. He grew up southeast of Stockham, where he attended country school, and graduated from Stockham High School. He then moved to California, and during his college career he entered the National Guard, and later enlisted in the Regular Army. He retired after 20 years of service as a Master Sergeant, then he worked for the Department of Corrections...
