Description	:	Lester H. Albright died Thursday Jan 1, 2009, at the Twin Falls Care Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, where he was recovering from surgery. No services were planned at his request. Lester was born on April 22, 1937, in Merced, Calif. to Dugan and Mina Albright. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Smith Valley High School in Smith Valley, Nevada. Throughout his school ears, he was involved heavily in 4-H, winning many ribbons, trophies and state championships. He received a full ride football scholarship to Texas A&M, but knee injuries ended his football career... Read More	Lester H. Albright died Thursday Jan 1, 2009, at the Twin Falls Care Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, where he was recovering from surgery. No services were planned at his request. Lester was born on April 22, 1937, in Merced, Calif. to Dugan and Mina Albright. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Smith Valley High School in Smith Valley, Nevada. Throughout his school ears, he was involved heavily in 4-H, winning many ribbons, trophies and state championships. He received a full ride football scholarship to Texas A&M, but knee injuries ended his football career early on. He enlisted in the Air Force and served mainly in Newfoundland and Glasgow. While in Glasgow he met and married Kay Bakken, Sidney. After an honorable discharge they moved back to Nevada where their children were born and he served as the game warden for the state of Nevada in Mason Valley and the Sunnyside compound in eastern Nevada. Later they moved to Spokane, Washington where he was employed in the excavating business. A few years later the family moved to Sidney where Lester farmed and became a farm equipment salesman. He truly enjoyed meeting his new clients and made many lasting friendships. In October of 2007, Lester moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where he lived in the "Little Red House" under the tallest cell tower in the valley. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, his parents, and his brother and sister. He is survived by his children Todd Albright (Deb), American Falls, Idaho, and their children Ryan, Chris and Tasha, and granddaughter Lexi; DelRae(Don) Steinbeisser, Sidney, and their children Jenniffer and Dugan; and Leslie (Kevin) Iverson, Fuler, Idaho, and their daughter Kimberly (Tyler) Wetherelt.
