Description	:	Lester P. Newell, 95, of McComb passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at The Heritage in Findlay. He was born on October 13, 1920 in McComb, Ohio to the late Albert Ray and Ladema (Powell) Newell. He married Lois L. Myers on March 11, 1945 in McComb and she preceded him in death on September 18, 1989. Read More	Lester P. Newell, 95, of McComb passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at The Heritage in Findlay. He was born on October 13, 1920 in McComb, Ohio to the late Albert Ray and Ladema (Powell) Newell. He married Lois L. Myers on March 11, 1945 in McComb and she preceded him in death on September 18, 1989. He then married Geneva Rose on January 27, 1991 and she preceded him in death on August 28, 1996 Lester is survived by daughters, Anna (Walter) Lessun of McComb, Lois “Toot” (Ernie) Hile of Findlay; sons Paul “Joe” (Paula) Newell of Findlay, Gene (Beth) Newell of Umatilla, FL; sister, Ida Mae Craft of Botkins, OH.; 9 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, John Lee Newell and brother Floyd Newell and granddaughter Judy Bales. Lester was a member of the McComb First Presbyterian Church and attended the Oakdale United Methodist Church, he owned and operated the Bait Box Shop in McComb. He also was a farmer and worked at Cadillac Glass in McComb. He delivered the Courier and the Toledo Blade after he retired. Visitation for Lester will be on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 1:00P.M. until the time of his funeral service at 2:00P.M. in the HARTLEY-LEHTOMAA FUNERAL HOME, 370 S. Park Dr., McComb, Ohio 45858, Pastor Paul Edward Myers, officiating. Burial will follow in the McComb Union Cemetery.
