Description	:	Lester KinKennon, 70, of Osceola died of a heart ailment Friday at Clark County Hospital there. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tursday at Liberty Cemetery. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tursday at Liberty Cemetery. Mr. KinKennon was born in Dexter and had lived in Des Moines before Moving to Osceola in February. He was railroad mechanic and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include two sons, John of Katy, Texas, and Jim of Omaha; a daughter, Mary Beth Chapman of Cedar Falls; three sisters, Hilda McKnight of Osceola, Mildred Andersen of Jefferson and Nellie Osterloh of Wahoo, Neb.; A. G. KinKennon of Seattle. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at Kale Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. LESTER KINKENNON Lester Kinkennon, son of Cassie Standlea and William Kinkennon, was born Aug. 10,1923, at Dexter and Aug 20,1993, at the Long Term Care Wing of Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. He was 70. He attended the Kirkman schools and graduated from Kirkman High School. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. He married Lillian M. Jensen on April 9,1945. They became the parents of twin sons, John and Jim and a daughter, Mary Beth. They were divorced in 1949. Mr. Kinkennon was a mechanic for the Rock Island Railroad and lived in Des Moines before moving to Osceola in February of 1993. He was a Member of the American Legion in Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brother, William, Earl and Harry. Mr. Kinkennon is survived by his sons, John Kinkennon of Katy, Texas, Jim Kinkennon of Omaha, Nebraska, daughter Mary Beth Chapman of Ceder Falls; sisters, Hilda McKnight and her husband, Glenn, of Osceola, Mildred Anderson of Jefferson and Nellie Osterloh of Waterloo, Neb. brother, A. G. Kinkennon and his wife, Jean, of Seattle, Wash.; many nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Graveside services for Mr. Kinkennon were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Liberty Cemetery in Clarke County, Pastor Kenneth Dunn of Osceola officiating. Honor bearers were Sean McKnight, Charles McKnight, Richard McKnight and Steven McKnight. Arrangements were through Kale Funeral Home in Oscelo.
