Read More	PATTEN AND HERMON - Letha McLaughlin Tucker, 92, went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 1, 1929, in Fort Fairfield, ME, the daughter of Ola and Emma (Dee) McLaughlin. Letha spent her early years in Fort Fairfield, moving to Patten when she was in the 8th grade. She met her future husband, Ralph, when he arrived at the family farm to work and decided that was the place for him. She was a faithful member of Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church for well over 50 years, singing in the choir for a good part of that time. Her greatest joy though was her family. She was always ready to help and give whatever she had to them. Letha was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Tucker; her parents; sisters and sisters-in-law, Arlene Hosford, Donna Patterson, Alma Tucker, Geraldine McLaughlin, and Charlene McLaughlin; and brothers-in-law, Walter Hosford, Herbert Tucker, and Duane Patterson. She will be lovingly missed by her children and their spouses, Ola Wayne and Diana Tucker of Hermon, Terry and Dottie Tucker of Benedicta, and Lynn and Gary Soucy of Brewer; her grandchildren and spouses, Ola and Hannah Tucker Jr., Danielle and James Cole, Josh and Bethany Tucker, Annalisa and Shawn Harrington, and Kaylee and Andrew Treadwell; great-grandchildren, Chase and Heather Tucker, Dawson Tucker, Halle Cole, Jack Cole, Addison Tucker, Wyatt Tucker, Tristin Harrington, Adalyn Treadwell and Jensen Treadwell; her siblings, Arnold McLaughlin, Albertina and Bob Hamlin, and Charles McLaughlin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held Saturday, October 30, at Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church in Patten. Visiting hours will be from 12-1 p.m. with funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dana Rioux officiating. Internment will be in the Patten Cemetery. Following internment, the family invites everyone to share refreshments and conversation in the church fellowship hall.
