LITCHFIELD LETITIA (LETTIE)LITCHFIELD passed away October 31, 1977 in Raymond, at the age of 79 years beloved wife of the late Reid Vernal Litchfield formerly of Raymond. Lettie came to Canada in 1903 with her mother and grandparents to Magrath where she lived until about 1909 when they moved to Taber. She married Reid Vernal Litchfied at Taber on December 21, 1915 and they continued to live in the Taber area until 1924 when they moved to Raymond, where she has since resided. She was an active member of the LDS Church with many years serving in the Stake Primary. She loved flowers and reading and was blessed with a special talent in handicraft. She took great pride in her home and was a great cook. Her friends always enjoyed visiting her. She took special pride in her family. She is survived by two sons, Robert Reid of Apia Samoa, Glen Reese of San Jose, California, six daughters, Marie (David) Watson of Cardston; Lila (Earl) Gedlaman of Taber; Irene (Morman) Allred of Cardston; Elaine (Darwin) Older of Picture Butte; Carrol (Ken) Shaw of Raymond; and Joy (William) Fairbanks of Orem, Utah; 38 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren; three brothers, Edwin H. Price of Taber; Richard Henry Price of Taber and Earl Ellingson of Taber; two sisters; Anne Dear Burbank of Taber and June West of Picture Butte. She was predeceased by her husband Reid in 1966, two infant brothers, Mark and Reese and two granddaughters, Sharon Watson and Karen Gedlaman Ackroyd. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 3, 1977 at 12 noon in Raymond Second Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Willard Paxman officiating. Interment in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond, AB. CHRISTENSEN SALMON FUNERAL HOME, Lethbridge, AB.
