She also farmed with her husband. She was affiliated with the Eddyville Christian Church. Survivors include daughter, Alice J Klyn of Apache Junction, Anz.; two sons. George G. Van Alst of Ottumwa and Ron Van Alst of Oskaloosa; stepson. Charles J. Van Alst of Holiday Island, Ark.; stepdaughter. Mary' Anne Funk of Bloomfield; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter; an infant great-granddaughter; and two brothers. Andrew and Lloyd Ritchie. Funeral services will be I p.m. Saturday at the Eddy ville Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles McMillan officiating. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery, Eddyville. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wapello County.
