Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Lancaster, Rev. C. C. Parker of Memphis officiating. Mrs. Gingerich was born at Lancaster, July 8, 1876, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Kelly. She grew to womanhood in that vicinity and was married 45 years ago to Simon Gingerich. Eleven children were born, all of whom survive. Mr. and Mrs. Gingerich moved from Lancaster to Worthington in 1898 and ten years ago went to the farm where they lived at the time of her death. The sons and daughters are: Arthur and Ursel of Greentop; Roy, Queen City; Wesley, St Louis; Ernie, Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. J. A. Beeman, Lancaster; Mrs. Oma Vestal, Kirksville; Mrs. J. V. Merrick, Kirksville; Mrs. L. J. Louder, O'Neill, Neb.; Harley and Howard at home. She also leaves ten grand children and four brothers and three sisters as follows: Sam Kelley, Unionville; Rufus, Otis and Will Kelley, who live in Iowa; Mrs. Mae Couch, Ottumwa; Mrs. Charles Shellenbarger, Marshalltown, Iowa and Mrs. Mose Linder, Unionville. Mrs. Gingerich was united with the Church of Christ at Worthington under the ministry of the Rev. Mr. Parker of Memphis, in 1920.
