She was employed at Ringer's Home Laundry for many years and later was employed at the Martin Nursing Home. Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Welch; sisters, Mrs. Vivian Bussard, Miss Charlotte Swope, both of Boonsboro; and Mrs. Sylvia Johnson, Hagerstown; brothers, Wilbur Swope, Frederic; Edward and Donald Swope, both of Boonsboro; and Dalton Swope, Fairfax, Va.
