Stevens, 87, husband of Lottie (Boyce) Stevens, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his loving family, September 10, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born November 27, 1925, in Lincoln, the son of Perl C. and Olive (Chambers) Stevens. A U.S. Army veteran, Levi served his country during World War II in Europe. He had been employed as a manager for area grocery stores for many years. He was an ordained minister and very involved in the nursing home ministry. He was born November 27, 1925, in Lincoln, the son of Perl C. and Olive (Chambers) Stevens. A U.S. Army veteran, Levi served his country during World War II in Europe. Levi is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Lottie of Dover-Foxcroft; three sons, Gary L. Stevens, Sr. and his wife, Roseland, of Dover-Foxcroft, Christopher A. Stevens, Sr. and his wife, Becky, of Bangor, and Kevin P. Stevens, Sr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Parkman; a brother, Floyd P. Stevens of Dover-Foxcroft; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Levi Stevens, Jr., three brothers and two sisters. A private graveside memorial service will be held for the family in Gray Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft, with Rev. Terry Whittemore and Rev. Kevin Stevens, Sr. officiating.
