There were two grown sons in his family, James and John, the latter was a minister of the Methodist Episcopal faith and lived in the neighborhood about ten years. Information from obituary of his daughter Mattie Kiggins. Lewis Kiggins moved to KS from IN in 1868 to Wyandotte Co KS. In 1870 they moved to Cheyenne Creek, Cloud Co, KS. Now known as Jamestown. A Methodist Church was started in Louis Kiggins dugout home in 1872.
