Henderson, 65, Main Street, St. Clairsville, died Thursday in Wheeling Hospital Continuous Care Center. He was born Aug. 24, 1921 at St. Clairsville, a son of Blanche Pollock Henderson of St. Clairsville and the late Harold J. Henderson. He was owner-operator of Henderson Flower and Gift Shop, St. Clairsville. Henderson was a member of Belmont Lodge #16 F&AM; charter member and past commander of VFW Post #5356; past president of St. Clairsville Rotary Club; past president of St. Clairsville Chamber of Commerce; a member of St. Clairsville Post #159 American Legion; a member of St. Clairsville Eagles; and a member of the Saints Club Boosters. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, and a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church, St. Clairsville. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons and a sister; two granddaughters. Friends received at Beck Funeral Chapel, St. Clairsville, 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. David Bush officiating. Burial in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
