She was born February 25, 1877 in Hayesville and was the daughter of John Sloan and Eliza Robertson. She grew to woman hood at Hayesville and on August 8, 1900, was married to Dr. Edward Quinn. She was born February 25, 1877 in Hayesville and was the daughter of John Sloan and Eliza Robertson. She grew to woman hood at Hayesville and on August 8, 1900, was married to Dr. Edward Quinn. They made their home in What Cheer where Dr. Quinn owned a drug store and practiced medicine. With the exception of five years when her husband was a government physician on an Indian reservation in Wisconsin, her life was spent in Keokuk Co. She is survived by four daughters: Gladys Fisher of Kalispell Montana, Cleo Yoss of North English, Ruth DeBriae., Milwaukee, WI and Blanche Greiner a Packwood: two stepdaughters, Bertie Mcdaid of Chicago and Nelly Porter of Searcy Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one brother, Eugene Robertson is Sigourney. Her husband preceded her in death on December 18, 1926. Mrs. Quinn was a member of the Methodist Church. The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at the number funeral home here, conducted by the Reverend WW Steinmetz of the Methodist Church. Burial was in Pennington cemetery.
