Description	:	LILA WILSON LOYD ANDERSON - Lila Elizabeth Wilson Loyd, 88, formerly of 2811 Broadway Lake Road, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at NHC of Anderson. Born August 8, 1920 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Lula Milford Wilson. She was a retired seamstress and was a lifelong member of Long Branch Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class and the Joy Fellowship. Born August 8, 1920 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Lula Milford Wilson. She was a retired seamstress and was a lifelong member of Long Branch Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class and the Joy Fellowship. Survivors include her son, Dwain Allen Loyd and his wife, Carol of Anderson; grandson, Jeff Allen Loyd; step-granddaughters, Jessica Lauren Looney and Meredith Brook Looney, all of Anderson; two sisters, Clara Hawkins of Anderson and Frances Wood of the Due West Retirement Center; sister-in-law, Ann Wilson of Anderson; and grandson's mother, Wanda Loyd of Camden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Wilson, and three sisters, Zella Erskine, Allie Haynie, and Vera Major. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Long Branch Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Wayne Watson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Family members are at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Long Branch Cemetery Fund, 2101 Highway 413, Anderson, SC 29621, or to the charity of choice.
