Description	:	69 years of age at time of death. Mrs. Cooke was killed when she fell through the covering of a 60 foot well at her home near Westfield. Her husband, A.B. Cooke, discovered her missing when he returned home from curing tobacco about 1:30 in the afternoon. On searching for her, he discovered the broken plank. She had plunged through the covering into six feet of water. Mrs. Cooke was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alma Holland of High Point and Mrs. Vester Jackson of Pilot Mountain; four sons, Harvey Cooke of Claudeville, Va., Wesley Cooke...
