OBITUARY: "The Franklin Press," Franklin, North Carolina, June 10, 1998 Mrs. Ramsey Anne Cabe Ramsey, 67, of Franklin, died Tuesday, June 9, at her residence. She was a native of Macon County, and the daughter of the late Henry W. and Lillian Richardson Cabe. She graduated from Peace College in Raleigh, and had a B.S. Degree in Education from Western Carolina University. She was a teacher in Macon County elementary and middle school for 29 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Franklin, where she had worked as a youth pianist and a youth choir director. She was a member of Garden Club, NCAE and Little Bridge Club for 41 years. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Clayton Ramsey; a daughter, Sharon Bottcher of Cary; a son, Henry C. Ramsey of Anderson; and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 11, at 7 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church of Franklin. Rev. Thomas Grifis will officiate. Burial will be in the Iotla Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11 one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
