KLUVER, Lillian Caroline Schleswig Leader (Schleswig, Iowa) June 1939 Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Gilbert Miller, who died Tuesday morning at the Henry Kluver farm east of Mapleton. Services were held at 1:00 o'clock at the home, and at 2:00 at the Frieden's church in Schleswig. Rev. A. F. Rinne was in charge. Burial was made in the Morgan Township cemetery. Lillian Caroline Miller, nee Kluver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kluver, was born February 12, 1921, in Charter Oak, Iowa and departed this life Tuesday morning at 5:55 a.m., at the home of her parents east of Mapleton. She had reached the age of 18 years, 3 months, and 24 days. The babe born that morning also died. As a child, she was baptized in the Christian faith. Last fall she was united in marriage to Gilbert Miller and since that time had lived near Mapleton. Her death came as a severe shock to her family and many friends. Monday evening she was still about, and the family was unaware of her condition. All that medical skill could do was done, but with no avail. She was the only daughter, and will be greatly missed. She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her husband, Gilbert Miller; her father and mother, and four brothers, Bernhard, Henry Jr., Marvin, and Roy, besides numerous relatives and friends.
