Description	:	Funeral services for Lillian Mohr Buse, 88, of Lake View were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Lake View. Pastor H.W. Kramer officiated. Mrs. Buse passed away at Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City on Saturday, April 3, 1993. Music was by organist Nancy Fertig and congregational singing. Mrs. Delmer Huisenga and Mrs. Vernon Van Meveren were in charge of floral arrangements. Lillian Dora Mohr Buse was born in rural Lidderdale, Iowa, on December 6, 1904, the daughter of John C. and Frederica Eitls Wenck. She was baptized January 5, 1905, and confirmed April 13, 1919. She attended Elk Run country school in Sheridan Township through the eighth grade. She married George Mohr at Lidderdale on March 31, 1927. The couple lived on a farm near Auburn until Mr. Mohr passed away on September 25, 1948. She married Tony Buse on December 2, 1958. He passed away on September 25, 1979. Mrs. Mohr Buse was a homemaker. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Ulmer and a past president of the Ladies Aid Guild. She later was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran in Lake View. She received recognition for being a 50 year member of the Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She also had the distinction of being the first resident of Black Hawk Life Care Center in Lake View. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing the piano and organ, especially church hymns. Survivors include two daughters, LaVerna (Mrs. Eldo) Schoneboom of Auburn and Darlene (Mrs. Merlin) Wollesen of Lake View; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Wilma Kruthoff of Lake View and Eleanor Smidt of Auburn; a sister, Elsie Peters of Lake View, and a sister-in-law, Marie Adams of Lanesboro. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Mohr; and her second husband, Tony Buse; her parents; and two brothers, Andrew and Wilbur Wenck.
