Lillian Dorothy Biehl was born September 10, 1918 to Frank and Josephine (Dvoracek) Kronaizl in Tabor, SD. She grew up in Tabor and attended country school and St. Wenceslaus Parochial School near there. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Tabor. On March 29, 1943, Lillian was united in marriage to Cecil Biehl in Los Angeles, CA. The couple made their home at Geddes, SD where Lillian enjoyed her job as cook in the Geddes Public School, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed sowing and cooking but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 children: Norma (Francis) Sommer, Delmont; Bill (Shiela) Biehl, Port Lyons, AK; and Mary (Terry) Gregory, Salem, OR; a son-in-law, Lyle Rechnagel, Freeman; 10 grandchildren: Tammy (Tom) Rosburg, Kevin (Kim) Rechnagel, Larry (Linda) Rechnagel, Kim Haiar, Kent Sommer, Robert (Mari) Biehl, Heidi George, and Nicole Gregory; 21 great-grandchildren and a half-brother, Mike Koupal, Yankton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil; a daughter, Josephine Rechnagel; a son, David Biehl; a grandson, Jess Gregory; and a sister, Albina Koupal.
