Frank, wife of John Frank, prominent Anderson real estate broker and businessman, died suddenly last night at 11:30 o'clock at the family home, 278 Greenville street of a heart attack. The death of Mrs. Frank came as a severe shock to her many friends in Anderson and throughout the state. Mrs. Frank suffered a slight stroke of paralysis six weeks ago, and while she had not enjoyed the best of health since that time her condition was not regarded as serious. Deceased was born in Alexandria, Va., the daughter of William A., and Martha Z. Smith. With her husband Mrs. Frank came to Anderson twenty-three ago where they have since resided. As a resident of this community she had endeared herself to many friends through a pleasing personality, a keen understanding of the joys and sorrows of her friends, and a willingness to do friendly acts. Mrs. Frank was a devout Christian woman, having been affiliated with St. John's Methodist church and always interested in its various societies and activities. Cheerful, kind and generous, ever thoughtful of others, she will be sadly missed. The funeral will be held, with services at the home on Greenville street, on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. W. B. Garrett, pastor of St. John's Methodist church, will conduct the services, after which the body will be laid to final rest in Silver Brook cemetery. Mrs. Frank leaves her husband and two daughters: Mrs. James P. Harrall, of Columbus, Ohio, and Miss Virginia Frank, of this city. Also, several brothers and sisters. The following will serve as pall bearers: Ralph Wilson, Lawrence Hammett, Dr. F. D. Suggs, William F. Green, R. M. Cathcart, Harold Major. The honarary escort will include Dr. J. L. Gray, Thos. Allen, C. A. Gambrill, T. M. Divver, Calhous Harris, John M. Hubbard, J. J. Major, S. L. Prince, A. P Cater, Dr. C. S. Breedin, E. R. Horton, Dr. W. H. Nardin, H. S. Camp and G. B. Green.
