Lillian Hoyt was born April 15, 1906 at McHenry, where she grew up and attended school. She was married to Jeff C. Jeffords November 21, 1925 at New Rockford. The couple farmed in the McHenry area until 1943. That fall they moved to Grand Forks. After her husband's death in 1967, Mrs. Jeffords moved to Kent, Washington in July, 1968. The funeral was in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, McHenry, March 16. Lillian Hoyt was born April 15, 1906 at McHenry, where she grew up and attended school. She was married to Jeff C. Jeffords November 21, 1925 at New Rockford. The couple farmed in the McHenry area until 1943. That fall they moved to Grand Forks. After her husband's death in 1967, Mrs. Jeffords moved to Kent, Washington in July, 1968. For the past few years she has made her home with her two daughters in Washington. She is survived by the two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Irene) Baehr, Maple Valley, Washington; and Mrs. Leslie (Ruth) Johnson, Tacoma, Washington; one son, Richard Jeffords, Cavalier, North Dakota. Three brothers, Kent Hoyt, Beaverton, Oregon; Dennis Hoyt, Milwaukie, Oregon; and Chester Hoyt, Clear Water, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Gene (Cecil) Newsome, Milwaukie, Oregon; Mrs. Harry (Pearl) Nordstrom, Grand Forks; Mrs. Palmer (Lois) Foss, Devils Lake; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Homes.
