Description	:	Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday for Tillie I. Ramey, 87, of 920 Beattie St., Sterling. She died Tuesday at Sterling Regional MedCenter. Rev. Ivan D. Rundus and Pastor's Assistant Debbie Hessler, both of First Presbyterian Church, are to officiate for the service at the church. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Ramey was born Jan. 9,1904, in the Kelly Community in Washington County to William and Elva (Steinbeck) Krumbach. Mrs. Ramey attended Sterling schools and graduated from Sterling High School. She worked for Stickneys and was a District Court clerk in Sterling. In 1929 she married John Lantz. He died Dec. 30, 1950. On May 26, 1979, she married Laurence W. Ramey in Sterling. Mrs. Ramey was a charter member of Sterling Country Club and was an avid golfer. She also loved to play bridge. She delivered meals for Meals on Wheels, was very active in the community and was a member of First Presbyterian Chruch and White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 3. Survivors include her husband of Sterling, a daughter, Jeni Forbes of Fort Collins; three stepchildren, Annabelle Foumier of Englewood, Griffith Ramey of Tempe, Ariz., and Ronad Ramey of Hemdon, Va.; eight grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Ellen Lantz, in 1948. Chaney-Walters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
