Wright, 96, of Ripley died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church near Aberdeen, Ohio. Ms. Wright was born on Aug. 5, 1913, in Aberdeen, the daughter of the late Jessie L. and Mary D. (Perry) Flaugher. Shelton Sr. and wife, Georgjean of Aberdeen; two grandchildren, Teresa L. Christopher of Darein, Conn., and William E. Shelton Jr. of West Chester, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Brittany Rae Christopher and Alexander Thomas Christopher; and two sisters, Mildred Lawwill of Dayton, Ohio, and Jenny Ruth Flaugher of New Lebanon, Ohio. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Rev. Ken Harmon will officiate. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Sunday. Burial will follow the funeral service in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen.
