Foreman Lillian Bergerson was born on Nov. 1, 1881, in Kankakee county, Illinois, to Bant and Caroline Bergerson and passed away on July 14, 1957, being at the time of death 75 years of age. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Burdette and Perry, and a sister Lida. For several years the family resided in Lamoni. Foreman Lillian Bergerson was born on Nov. 1, 1881, in Kankakee county, Illinois, to Bant and Caroline Bergerson and passed away on July 14, 1957, being at the time of death 75 years of age. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Burdette and Perry, and a sister Lida. For several years the family resided in Lamoni. At an early age, she was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and remained faithful to her covenant to the end. On Dec. 24, 1901, she was united in marriage to Clarence E. Foremen. To this union were born three daughters two of whom survive, Velvetta Lucille Budd and Dortha Maxine Rogge, both of Kansas City, Mo. Rae Marie died in infancy. For several years, she and her husband were in business in Lamoni conducting a cafe. They later moved to Kansas City, Mo. In addition to her two daughters, she is survived by one granddaughter, Mrs. H. M. Frickey, and a great-grandson Gary Frickey, both of Sheridan, Wyo. She had been In tailing health for two years and seriously Ill for three weeks. Former friends and neighbors will recall her gentle and kind disposition, her love for her family and friends, her church and willingness to aid those in need. Services were conducted at 11 a. m. on July 17, 1957, in Kansas City, Mo., with Elder Wilfred Hynden officiating. Two vocal solos were sung by Josephine Mader. Interment and graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. at Rose Hill cemetery in Lamoni, with Elder Walter Hayer officiating.
