Description	:	Lillian M. Carter WILLARDS — Lillian M. Carter, 95, of Willards died Thursday, June 2, 2011, in Kissimmee, Fla., at the home of her daughter, Carolyn. Born in Willards, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Manie (Dishroon) Wilkins. She and her husband, Bill, had been poultry and grain farmers for many years, and she was an active, longtime member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Read More	Lillian M. Carter WILLARDS — Lillian M. Carter, 95, of Willards died Thursday, June 2, 2011, in Kissimmee, Fla., at the home of her daughter, Carolyn. Born in Willards, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Manie (Dishroon) Wilkins. She and her husband, Bill, had been poultry and grain farmers for many years, and she was an active, longtime member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She was the former treasurer of the New Hope Cemetery Fund, a former member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Willards Volunteer Fire Co. She is survived by a son, Allen Carter and his wife, Irene, of Nanticoke; two daughters, Carolyn Hawkins of Kissimmee and Patsy Hazel and her husband, Dave, of Willards; four grandchildren, Howard, Tabitha, Tina and Tracy; 10 great-grandchildren, Steve, Andrew, Joshua, Amber, Sydney, Becca, Jessie, Ella, Gracie and Jacob; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a nephew, Denny Littleton, and his wife, Bonnie, of Willards; and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Bill" Carter; two brothers, Jimmy Littleton and Louis Wilkins; a granddaughter, Wendy Floyd; and a great-granddaughter, Lilly Pearce. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church in Willards, where friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to New Hope United Methodist Church, c/o Isabel White, 607 Manor Drive, Salisbury, Md. 21801; or New Hope Cemetery Fund, c/o Elaine Perdue, PO Box 5, Willards, Md. 21874.
