Veteran Teacher in Teton County Succumbs to Long Illness at Home Choteau, Nov. 6--Mrs. Lillian Craig, wife of Harrison Craig, died at the family home here after an illness of several months. Mrs. Craig, whose maiden name was Lillian Cudd, was born at Martell, Wis., July 12, 1890, where she lived for a number of years and received her education. She was graduated from the state normal school at River Falls, Wis., and engaged in teaching first at St. Paul and then at Edmonton, Wis., moving to Montana in 1918 and locating in Great Falls, where she taught for two years. Her marriage to Mr. Craig took place at Deer Lodge and they came at once to Choteau to establish their home, Mr. Craig being engaged in the garage business and Mrs. Craig being employed as a teacher of the three grades of the school here, which position she held for three years, retiring this fall on a leave of absence because of ill health. Surviving relatives besides her husband, are her mother, Mrs. Alma Cudd; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie McFarland of Prineville, Ore., Mrs. Harr Ross of Chicago, and Miss Marion Cudd, Superior, Wis.; and three brothers, Robert and John Cudd of Wisconsin, and Paul Cudd of Portland, Ore. A sister, Mrs. Nan Wolfe, at one time a teacher in the Choteau schools, died last year at Deer Lodge.
