Description	:	Lillian Marie (Wagner) Bailey was born September 26, 1916 on the family farm west of Colome, SD, to Joseph and Anna (Brezina) Wagner who were pioneers in that area. She grew up and attended rural elementary school in that area. She then attended high school at Colome and later in Winner where she graduated in 1937. On November 21, 1938 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert (Bob)Bailey. To this union three sons were born: Robert, Jr., Ronald, and Richard. Read More	Lillian Marie (Wagner) Bailey was born September 26, 1916 on the family farm west of Colome, SD, to Joseph and Anna (Brezina) Wagner who were pioneers in that area. She grew up and attended rural elementary school in that area. She then attended high school at Colome and later in Winner where she graduated in 1937. On November 21, 1938 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert (Bob)Bailey. To this union three sons were born: Robert, Jr., Ronald, and Richard. Lillian and Bob first resided and farmed in the Winner area. In 1944 they purchased their farm south of Dallas where they lived and raised their boys. In 1971 they moved to Gregory and continued to operate their farm from town. After moving to Gregory, Lillian worked at Buches for nearly 20 years. Lillian enjoyed gardening, bowling, dancing, playing cards, traveling and most of all visiting with family and friends. When guests were present in her home Lillian would present them the most amazing baking delights which included bread, kolaches, rolls, and cookies, which became to be greatly anticipated by everyone that visited. Over the years Lillian participated In many clubs, including Extension Club, Valley Reading Circle, bowling leagues and square dance clubs. She was a lifelong Catholic and a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters. As her age advanced and her health declined she entered the Winner Regional Healthcare Center where she passed away on March 5, 2011 at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons Robert (Debbie) of Riverton, WY and Ronald (Lorri) of Dubois, WY; Bette (Walt) Pumphrey of Centennial, CO; a brother Lawrence (Sedonia) Wagner of Winner, SD and a sister Libby (Harold) Rowe of Rapid City, SD. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by Robert, her husband of 52 years; her son Richard, a daughter-in-law Linda, a grandson John Bailey, her parents Joseph and Anna Wagner, a brother Edward and a sister Helen Dwyer.
