Description	:	Lillian Mary Timmons PITTSVILLE — Lillian Mary Timmons, 84, of Pittsville died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center-PCU Care Unit in Salisbury. She was born in Pittsville, a daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Brittingham. Mrs. Timmons was a lifetime farmer and a great supporter of the "Timmons Family Bluegrass." Lillian was a member of the Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church in Seaford. She was married for 58 years to the late Chester R. Timmons. She was born in Pittsville, a daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Brittingham. Mrs. Timmons was a lifetime farmer and a great supporter of the "Timmons Family Bluegrass." Lillian was a member of the Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church in Seaford. She was married for 58 years to the late Chester R. Timmons. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Freddie Lee and Kathy Timmons of Pittsville and Sammy F. and Deborah Timmons of Delmar; two grandchildren, Wade F. Timmons and his wife, Sheree, of Hebron and their children, Angel Calloway and Mike Truitt, and Julia A. Persinger and her husband, Scott, of Delmar, and their children, Amanda and Samantha Persinger of Delmar. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at noon at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, where family and friends may call from 11 a.m.-noon. Pastor Ray Justice will officiate. Interment will be in Pittsville Cemetery in Pittsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church, 26764 Seaford Road, Seaford, Del. 19973.
