Description	:	CARPENDALE, W.Va. - Lillian May Holshey, 87, of Carpendale, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at her home. Born Jan. 13, 1916, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harry R. Rowe Sr. and Anna Margaret Valentine Rowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Joseph "Yum" Holshey, in 1997. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she was a member of the sodality. She was a volunteer in the cafeteria at St. Mary's School. She is survived by one daughter, C. Rosalie Hollinger of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four... Read More	CARPENDALE, W.Va. - Lillian May Holshey, 87, of Carpendale, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at her home. Born Jan. 13, 1916, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harry R. Rowe Sr. and Anna Margaret Valentine Rowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Joseph "Yum" Holshey, in 1997. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she was a member of the sodality. She was a volunteer in the cafeteria at St. Mary's School. She is survived by one daughter, C. Rosalie Hollinger of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cumberland. The Rev. Milton A. Hipsley will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. he family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cumberland, where a Christian Wake will be held at 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 300 E.
