According to the 1910 Census, she was born in 1903. It appears that when she married young in 1919, she added years to her age and then lost them when she later married a younger man. In the 1910 Census the family lived in Swanton, Garrett Co, MD. By 1920, her parents were in Mineral Co., West Virginia where she married in 1919. In the 1910 and 1920 Censuses and in her 1919 marriage record, she is listed as Lillie or Lillian. By 1930, she had become Ruth. She married three times and was widowed twice. She married Elmer Moore in 1919 in Mineral Co., WV and had two children: Edward Everitt Moore in 1921 and Evelyn Moore Gallo Soltys in 1923. She married Karl Boehmer 1894-1946 with whom she is found in the 1930 Census in Brooklyn, NY between 1925 when her first husband died and when their son Karl Kenneth Boehmer was born in 1929. They moved to Plainfield, NJ by 1940. There were three children: Karl "Kenneth" 1929-2018; Donald E. 1931-1998, and Lucille Bavos 1934-2009. Lastly, she married Emil Buzas 1916-2007 after the death of Karl Boehmer in 1946 and after Emil Buzas' 1950 divorce.
