Description	:	Mrs. Coover died of injuries received in an auto accident during a snowstorm while she was driving to a convention in Alabama. She was president of the American Dietetics Association and was on her way to a state convention. She was a graduate of Iowa State College in 1906 when her father was president of the college. She received graduate degrees from the University of Chicago and Columbia University and did research at the University of Otago, New Zealand, before becoming head of nutrition research for Gerber Products.
