Great Falls Tribune August 7, 1998 Denton - Lillian T. (Prowicz) Ronish, 69, died of cancer Wednesday at her home. She was born September 15, 1928 in Chicago and was raised and educated in the Chicago area. She moved to Denton in the mid 1940's. In 1951 she married Richard Ronish in Idaho. They lived in Denton until her death. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed cooking, dancing and music. She was a member and leader of the Velvet Belles, a band which she organized in the early 1960's. Survivors include her husband of Denton; a son, Ross Ronish or Gresham, Oregon; two daughters, Candy Hawk, of Gresham and Nancy King of Peabody, Kansas; two stepdaughters; a brother, Stanley Ancy of California; two sisters, Julia Redman of Denton and Jane Adams of Virginia Beach, VA; 6 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
