Born in Baker Settlement, April 29, 1898, she was the daughter of the late Alzonas and Susie (Delong) Frausell. She is survived by one daughter, Marjorie (Hirtle) Moss, Bridgewater; five sons, Roswell Hirtle, Wileville; Carman Hirtle, Hebbville; Gerald Hirtle, Lower Branch; Norman and Arnold Bolivar, Baker Settlement. She is also survived by one brother, Ronald, West Clifford; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred Hirtle; second husband, Gordon Bolivar; one sister, Letitia; and three brothers, Byron, Carl, and Laurie. The largely attended funeral service, under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home, was held May17, 1990, in the Union Church, Baker Settlement, with burial in the family plot, Baker Settlement Cemetery. Service was conducted by Lic. Brian Wallace, student minister of Bridgewater Baptist Church. Choir, with Clarice Wile as organist, rendered the chosen hymns,"Softly and Tenderly" and "In The Sweet Bye and Bye." Comforting words were taken from the Psalm 23. Pallbearers were Lowell Faulkenham, Robert Wentzell, Wilton Bolivar, and Tony Norwood. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
