Description	:	Conway Lillie Johnson Rabon, 97, daughter of the late Ulric and Docia Allen Johnson and wife of the late Robert Scarborough Rabon passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Mrs. Rabon was a graduate of Aynor High and Conway Nursing School. She was a nurse at Conway Medical Center until her retirement. She was the oldest member of North Conway Baptist Church. Mrs. Rabon was the beloved mother of her son, Robert (Bobby) W. Rabon (Demaris) and her daughter, Denise R. Applewhite (Carl). She is also survived by two granddaughters, Deborah R. Johnson and Diane R. Bagnal (Ben) and three great-grandchildren, Cameron Hardee, Dylan and Katherine Bagnal. Mrs. Rabon was one of eleven children. She is survived by one sister Leila J. Johnson of Galivants Ferry, South Carolina. She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters: Wade Hampton Johnson, Robert Leon Johnson, Jerushia Caroline Johnson, Nancy Johnson Todd, Hoyt Mack Johnson, Murdock Leneau Johnson, Tolar Bethel Johnson, Isla Johnson Thornton, and Elbert Lloyd Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. The family sincerely thanks the doctors and nursing staffs at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center 2-East and Agape for their loving and compassionate care. The family respectfully suggests that memorials be made to North Conway Baptist Church, 1608 Sessions Street, Conway, SC 29526. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Dr. Jeffrey Gaskins officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
