Description	:	Lillie Thulean, passed away peacefully on Dec. 29, 2002, at Central Washington Hospital. She was born on April 3, 1910, to Pioneers of East Wenatchee, Steve and Jona Hamilton. Raised in East Wenatchee, she attended the elementary school, often riding her pony, Mischief, to school from the ranch located on what is now Grant Road. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1929. As one of the few girls to have a car, on game day she could be seen around town with car and running boards full of kids. She was born on April 3, 1910, to Pioneers of East Wenatchee, Steve and Jona Hamilton. Raised in East Wenatchee, she attended the elementary school, often riding her pony, Mischief, to school from the ranch located on what is now Grant Road. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1929. As one of the few girls to have a car, on game day she could be seen around town with car and running boards full of kids. She attended business college for a year in Seattle and on July 31, 1930, Lillie married her high school sweetheart, Lee Thulean. They made their home and raised their family in East Wenatchee. Lillie was always active in the groups she belonged to. She was a Campfire Leader for many years and a Room Mother many times over. She and her husband were strong Grange members, holding many offices and many family activities took place there. She was also a Past President of the East Wenatchee Garden Club. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had many friends there she traveled with after she was widowed in 1985. She will be remembered for her cheerful, unselfish, and loving ways. Many customers of Eastmont Pharmacy wanted Lillie to wait on them. She worked there for many years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Leonard Evans; son-in-law, Fritz Priszner; four grandchildren and their spouses: Sue and Scott Kansky, Lisa and Gar Douglass, Steve and Cheryl Evans, Garrett and Shannon Evans; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, in 1985; one daughter, Sharon Priszner; one grandson, Greg Evans; three sisters, Bertha Ramaker, Samantha Fraley, and Laura Paap; and one brother, Dencie Hamilton. There will be a private family service held at Telford's Chapel of the Valley on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Kel Groseclose officiating. The interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Those wishing may make memorial donations in her name to Central Washington Hospital Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
