The Rev. Carl McConnell conducted the services. Burial was made in Laurel Hill cemetery. Lillie M. Shain daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shain was born July 26, 1880, at Akron, Ky. She was married to William W. Lamson at Oakdale on July 2,1912. Mrs. Lamson was the sister of the late P. H. Shain, Mrs. J. B. Robinson, and Mrs. Lew Gittinger, all of Elgin. Mr. Lamson served as brand inspector at the local livestock sale barn until his death on Sept. 19, 1950. Pallbearers were Lew Shain of Elgin, Roy Shain of Onawa, Ia., Eddie Liebel of Alliance, George Lamson, William Lamson and Howard Reinke of Neligh. They are nephews of Mrs. Lamson.
